Talib Kweli is quite the debater on Twitter. Talib will debate fans about everything under the sun, and it’s been interesting to watch over the years. Many wanted to debate him on whether or not good music still exists today. With the lack of much great music, sometimes it seems like we won’t see too many legends emerge from this era. Talib feels that it’s not that people lack great music today, but it’s nostalgia kicking in. He believes people associate music with memories so that’s why many feel that music of the past is “better.” He also dropped a few names as far as who he felt was on their way to achieving legend status. Those names include Run The Jewels, Joey Badass, Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, Rapsody, Anderson Paak, and Chance The Rapper. Do you agree with Talib Kweli’s picks? Is today’s music really that bad, or did every era have their share of garbage?
I disagree. RTJ, Joey Badass, Kendrick, Cole, Rapsody, anderson paak, chance, all great on they way to legend https://t.co/Ka6gxCcS0o

Every generation thinks their music is the best. Your parents think their music is the best. It's natural. https://t.co/4TdNbBWywP
