Drake’s beard became a trending topic yesterday (May 13) across the Internet, after he posted pictures of himself clean-shaven, in anticipation for his hosting gig for Saturday Night Live.

The Internet did not react so well to a clean-shaven Drake. But the rapper wasn’t always a member of the #Beardgang.

Drake started growing a beard in late 2012 and has sported it at various lengths throughout the past few years.
