Documentary About Police Reform Activist Prohaize Running From ATL To NYC Features Jidenna Roman GianArthur & More (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) On September 20, 2015, Hip Hop performer Edward “Prohaize” Minta began running and cycling the 750 mile journey from Atlanta to New York City in order to call for transparency and accountability between police officers and civilians. In particular, Prohaize wanted to bring awareness for the need to implement body cameras on all law enforcement officers.

The 20-day trek was documented by a videographer. A shoulder-mounted camera and Snapchat were also used to record Prohaize’s moments between ATL’s Ebenezer Baptist Church and NYC’s Liberty Island. The footage was compiled to create a 30-minute film about the mission.

Wondaland recording artists Jidenna and Roman GianArthur were interviewed for the Justice Trail documentary. Other social activists Aurielle Marie, Londrelle Hall, and Bridget Anderson made appearances as well.

Justice Trail is an organization of like-minded individuals founded in July 2015 to address social justice issues by promoting actions-based and results-oriented solutions. To find out more information about Justice Trail or to donate to its GoFundMe campaign visit justicetrail.org.
